SunPlanner needs your location to forecast solar production for the exact spot you are parked. To do that, your coordinates are sent to the weather and map services listed in section 3. Your equipment details and production history stay on your device and are never uploaded.

SunPlanner ("we," "us," or "our") is a solar production forecasting app for off-grid setups: RVs, vans, skoolies, cabins, and homesteads. This policy explains, in plain language, what the app collects, where it goes, and how to get your data removed. We do not sell your data, we do not run ads, and the app has no advertising or analytics tracking SDK of any kind.

1. What the app collects

2. Why we use it

3. Who receives your data

To turn your coordinates into a forecast and a map, the app sends your location to these services. Each receives only your coordinates, never your identity:

For sign-in and purchases, these services receive account and billing data, never your location or equipment data:

We also use Sentry for the crash reports described above (sentry.io/privacy) and Expo for app update checks (expo.dev/privacy). Neither receives your location.

The website stores waitlist records in Cloudflare's infrastructure and uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for cookieless visit and page-load counts. We do not share waitlist details or campaign labels with advertising networks.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.

4. What never leaves your device

Your saved equipment specs, your calibration data, and your production history live only in the app's local storage on your phone. They are not synced to a server, not backed up to us, and not shared. If you uninstall the app, that data is gone.

5. How long we keep things

We do not store your location on our servers, so there is nothing on our side to retain there. Crash and diagnostic reports are kept only as long as needed to fix problems. Waitlist records, including platform choice, optional name, and campaign labels, are kept until you ask us to remove them, or until 12 months after the app launches publicly, whichever comes first.

If you delete your account (see section 6), we remove your Supabase identity and your RevenueCat customer record. We do keep a one-way cryptographic hash of your linked Google account identifier, which cannot be reversed to reveal who you are, only to prevent the same person from repeatedly claiming free-trial or promotional offers after deleting an account. It is not personal data in any usable sense and is not linked to anything else about you.

6. Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app at Settings > Account > Delete account. If you can no longer sign in, or the app isn't available to you, email us at the address in section 9 from the same Google address linked to your account, and we will complete the deletion once we've confirmed it's really you.

Deleting your account removes your Supabase identity and your RevenueCat customer record (except the fraud-prevention hash described in section 5). It does not remove data saved only on your device (your equipment specs, calibration, and production history). Clear the app's storage or uninstall it to remove those.

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. If you have a subscription running through Google Play, it keeps billing until you cancel it separately at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Cancel your subscription there first if you don't want to be charged again.

Full details, including the in-app steps and the email-fallback path, are also on our dedicated page: sunplanner.subtl.agency/delete-account.

7. Your choices and other rights

You control the location permission in your device settings and can turn it off at any time (the forecast will not work without it). You can clear your on-device data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it.

To access, correct, export, or delete your waitlist record, or to ask any question about your data, email us at the address below and we will act within 7 days. If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you have additional rights under GDPR (access, correction, deletion, and portability); contact us to use them.

8. Children

SunPlanner is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. Meaningful changes will be noted here with a new date at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
